The Frank Ghery designed Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a phenomenon in itself. A flowing tower of glass and titanium panels it was a sensation when opened in 1997 and continues to draw masses of visitors to the city of Bilbao, the capital of the Basque Autonomous Region of Spain. In this image the shapes, colors and lines of the building create a stylized sculpture for the eye.
