YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 31, 2021) – Chief Machinist's Mate Richelle Roberson, from Jacksonville, Fl., gives remarks during a Women's Equality Day celebration aboard 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Women's Equality Day is a celebration held to commemorate the 1920 adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific Region.
