GoldenBand Lily. This is a very hand-some Lily, the flowers are largeand white, each petal having ayellow stripe. It is of easy cul-ture. A loamy dry soil suits itbest, and planted one inch past season I had occasionto see several of this noble Lilyin bloom, and it is really fine;half a dozen flowers opening atthe same time, and they measurefrom 6 to 9 inches across; it isvery fragrant. I expect somefine bulbs, same as I had lastyear, imported direct from theirnative bulbs, 50 cents laiicifolium al-biim. Pure white Japan Lily,Lilium auratum. 40 cents each, L<iliiiiii lancifolium rubrum. White and red spotted, 20 centseach. lancifolium roseum. Eose spotted, 20 cents Japan Lilies are very beautiful and fragrant; should beplanted from October till January. Perfectly suited to this climate.
