HSC 7 provides vertical lift search and rescue, logistics, anti-surface warfare, special operations forces support, and combat search and rescue capabilities for Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 3 in support of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) and Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 10 operations.
