Iattended in the West Gallery at the House of Lords. Meeting of Wilson Trust Committee at Guildhall, Court of Aldermen at i. The Duchess of Albany lunched at the MansionHouse, and afterwards opened an Exhibition ofpictures by eminent artists at the Guildhall in aidof my Cripples Fund. The exhibits were all forsale, and included works by Sir L. Alma Tadema,, Mr. D. Farquharson, , Professor VonHerkomer, , Sir John Tenniel, , Sir J. , , Mr. Yeend King, , , and manyothers. I anticipate a good result. A meeting at Mansion House of the Council ofthe Dwellings of the Poor at 5. Drury Lane Lodge meeting at Hotel Cecil toinstall Dr. Armitage. Dined with the London Meat Trades and DroversBenevolent Association, Criterion Restaurant, F. Gain in the chair. Wednesday, 13th February.—
