An Ordnanceman with H&MS-15 is seen attaching the fin assembly to a 500-pound MK-82 bomb during June 1972. These bombs were used in strikes carried out by Marine Phantoms of Marine Aircraft Group 15. Once the fins were attached and the bombs made ready, they were loaded onto trucks for transportation to the flight line.
