Baptismal ceremony of Prince Alexander of Orange-Nassau, the second son of William II and Anna Paulowna, in the Grote Kerk at The Hague on 24 August 1818. Standing in the middle of the church are King William I, Prince Frederick, Princess Anna Paulowna, Queen Wilhelmina of Prussia, Princess Marianne and the Crown Prince, the father and later King William II, who is baptizing the child.
