Tran Quoc Pagoda - Hanoi, Vietnam
Chua Tran Quoc (Tran Quoc Pagoda) at the West Lake is Hanois oldest buddhist pagoda. The Chua Tran Quoc was first mentioned in te 6th century but in a different place in small village nearby. The pagoda was shifted to it current place in the 17th century. The pagoda in its present condition was build in 1615. Tran Quoc means 'Stabilizing the Nation' or 'Defending the Nation'.
