A cross between the White Spine and a variety of the large English sorts. As prolific as the White Spine, it grows to a larger size. Per pkt. 15 cents. Gre^n Prolific. One of the very best varieties for pickling and the most prolific. Uniform in size, seldom 2:rowin< lb., 50; lb., § too large for pickles. Per oz., 25 cents; 1-4. BOSTON MARKET. CELERY. Sow the seed in the open ground as soon as it is fit to work in April, and keep clear of weeds- until the time of planting in June or July. After the gi'ound has been "nicely prepared, lines are struck'out three feet apart, and the plants set six inches apart in the rows. About the middle of August begin the ''earthing up " necessary for blanching or whitening that which is wanted for use during the months of September, October and November. Per pkt., 10 cents.
