AuratUtn (.The Golden-Banded Lily of Japan).—Wen called "The Queen of ; Flowers are from ten to twelve inches across, delicate white, thickly studded with rich cnocolate-crimson spots, with a bright golden band through the centre of each petal. Rubrum o?- Roseum.—White, flushed with pink, spotted dark carmine. Album.—Pure white, in shape like Roseum; very fragrant. Melpomene.—Very dark crimson spotted flowers of large size. New Double Giant Hybrids.—One of the showiest and most satisfactory of our hardy herbaceous plants, throwing up quantities of large spikes of blue flowers varying from light cerulean blue to dark purjjle. Tlie collection of new hybrid varieties that we offer is grand, embracing a wide range of color and producing flowers of the largest size. Delphiniums are desirable not onlj' on account of their beauty, but also on account of their color, there being so few blue flowers, and they are exceedingly valuable on account of their long season of bloom, remaining in flower for months. They are indispensable in a hardy old-fashioned garden or hardy herbaceous border: they will be found as indispensable as the foxglove or hollyhock. 20c. each, per dozen.
