The north side show was supplemented by the third annual exhibition of the Pitts- burgh Aquarium Society, of which Mr. King, of the A. W. Smith Co., is a mem- ber. This firm had three of the 100 tanks of rare fish in the exhibit. The annual exhibition of the Horti- cultural Society of Sewickley, in the high school pavilion, was the most sue- cessful of any given since the organiza- tion of the society a few years ago. Carl Becherer, formerly president of the Pittsburgh Florists' and Gardeners' Club, James Moore and J. J. Costoff formed the committee of judges. Various Notes. Mrs. E. A.
