Hurricane Katrina/Hurricane Rita, Charenton, LA October 18, 2005 - Tricia Mora, Vice Chairman of the Chitimarcha Tribe, hosted USCG Vice Admiral Thad Allen, FEMA Principal Federal Official for Gulf Coast recovery operations, as he visited tribe evacuees in St Mary Parish. FEMA is assisting the tribe to house some of its members who were displaced from the recent hurricanes.
