The pedestrian street in Yelets is called Mira Street or the local Arbat, it is completely closed to transport. The pedestrian area is more than 400 years old, in tsarist times merchants built their houses here, who usually had shops on the ground floor. At the same time, the signs do not always coincide with the contents of the shops. Patches of old paving stones are visible. On the buildings, you can notice forged decorative details, like lanterns.
