Newly installed conveyor sytem at Hickleton Main pit, Thurnscoe, South Yorkshire, 1961. The conveyor sytem at Hickleton Main before the belt was fitted in July of 1961. This enabled the coal to be transported directly to waiting railway wagons. The pit eventually closed in 1988.
