Mobile Launcher 1 (ML-1) Rolls to Launch Pad 39B for Artemis ll Testing. The mobile launcher is secured on the pad at Launch Complex 39B at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Aug. 17, 2023. It was transported to the pad by crawler-transporter 2. While at the pad, the mobile launcher will undergo testing for the agency’s Artemis II mission. Under Artemis, the mobile launcher will transport NASA’s Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft to pad 39B for liftoff.
