Democracy Awakening is a continuation and follow up to Democracy Spring. Democracy Awakening is a 3 day series of actions taking place April 16, 17 and 18, and organized by Public Citizen and a coalition of grassroots groups, labor, social and political justice activist from around the country. Today a rally and march took place beginning at the national mall followed by a march around the capital and ending at union station were a second rally and faith vigil was held.
