Colonel Coles Division hadone hundred and fifty six mule wagons,we arrived at Fort Ivarmie with only sixty days rations had been consumedand for seventeen days the men had butlittle to subsist on. General P. F. Connerhad the supplies and sent a company tofind our command and get rations to us. In the meantime we were nearly everyday attacked by the Indians.
