Tiger shark tooth (Galeocerdo cuvier). Typical tooth shape which is serrated, flat, triangular and notched. The teeth have evolved this shape to be able to cut through the shell of turtles which form part of their varied diet. This tooth is 28 millimetres by 25 millimetres high and came from a metres specimen.
