D-Day veteran Bill Milward celebrates his 100th birthday by ‘turning up’ the ball to start off the second day of play for Ashbourne’s Royal Shrovetide Football. The game, played through the streets of Ashbourne, Derbyshire, has been staged almost every year since at least the 17th Century.
