dlib, Syria. 19 January 2021. Heavy rainfall and strong winds have caused the flooding of a camp for internally displaced Syrians around the village of Killi in the Idlib province. Flooding has added further challenges to the displaced people in northwest Syria already facing winter cold temperatures sometimes reaching below zero degrees Celsius at night. Many families in the camp had fled attacks by the Syrian government forces and their Russian ally, and they may not be willing to go back to their towns either because their homes and villages have been destroyed, or in fear of arrest or cons
