She was thensuffering from severe nausea and vomiting for a period of ten days. She com-plained of pain in her abdomen and back. There was great tenderness over bothkidneys, particularly the right. Catheterizcd specimen of urine was acid in re-action, showed some pus and a few red blood cells. Temperature, 101. Tempera-ture had been continuous for three days. There was considerable mucus in thestools. Diagnosis: Pyelitis, right side, with possible involvement of the left was moved to the hospital and turned over to Dr. J. F. Geisinger for treatment.
