A Roman helmet,Weisenau/Guttmann type,1st half of the 1st century Bronze,hemispherical skull with three elliptically sculpted "eyebrows" on the forehead and an elaborate crest fixture of soldered elliptical and circular bases,with holes for side-inserted pins,on the crown. The remnants of a comb-type helmet adornment have been preserved separately. The curved cheek pieces have sculpted edges,riveted strap loops,and tubular hinges,and each is decorated with six red-enamelled(?)riveted,ornamental eyes,with others on the forehead,the temples,and ,Additional-Rights-Clearences-Not Available
