A long knife from the possession of the Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau, German, end of the 16th century Slender single-edged blade with slight ridges (somewhat pitted) on both sides of the blade. Horn grip scales. Narrow silver ferrule with an ivory pommel carved in the shape of a woman bust (head incomplete). The wooden scabbard is covered with sharkskin and has a silver plated locket.
