(Nov. 8, 2018) - Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Equipment) 1st Class Manuel Valladares, left, from New York, Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Lorenzo Resendiz, center, from El Paso, Texas, and Hull Technician 1st Class Nathan Westermier, from Tipton, Missouri, all assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), handle hoses in a dewatering drill during damage control olympics held in the ship's hangar bay. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
