Historical ophthalmoscopy tool. Ophthalmoscopic tools are used to examine the interior of the eye and measure its optical properties. This is a perimeter designed by a Mr Hardy, produced by a company in London. A perimeter is used to measure the angle of extent of the patient's field of vision, with the patient looking straight ahead and saying when the measuring point on the curved band moves out of their field of view.
