Seaman Christian McGhee plots the locations and status of simulated shipboard casualties from the pilothouse during a total ship survivability exercise aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Cowpens (CG 63) in the Timor Sea on July 16, 2011. The Cowpens is forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, and is underway in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility preparing from the commencement of the joint exercise Talisman Saber 2011.
