The Gaspe Peninsula or Gaspesia (la Gaspe in French) is a North American peninsula on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River. Marcel Gagnon's Le Grand Rassemblement (The Great Gathering) is made up of 80 life-size sculptures made of driftwood standing at the mouth of the river in front of the local art gallery.
