Svetlana Gerasimenko (born 1945). Portrait of the Soviet-Ukrainian astronomer Svetlana Gerasimenko. In 1969 Gerasimenko co-discovered, along with Klim Ivanovych Churyumov, the periodic comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The minor planet 3945 Gerasimenko was also named after her.
