The circuit from the alternator to ■ the transformer includes a direct reading wattmeterfor indicating the power consumed by the transformer. The current coil of this instrumentis connected in series with the transformer primary and the potential coil is connected acrossits terminals. The high voltage transformer, of the closed core type, is immersed in a semi-hquid grease. The primary wmd-ing is connected to the con-trol panel by means of lead-covered wires which havetheir covering grounded tothe transformer case and tothe panel frame. The sec-ondary terminals of thetransformer are brought outthrough two insulators andare mounted thereon.
