Abu'l-Fazl ibn Mubarak presenting the Akbarnama to Akbar. Abu'l-Fazl ibn Mubarak (1551-1602) was the vizier of Akbar (1542-1605), the third Mughal emperor. He was the author of the Akbarnama, the three volume official account of the emperor's reign.
