Detail of the decorations on the Middlesex Guildhall by Henry Charles Fehr (1867 - 1940) The old Middlex Guildhall across the street from Westminster Abbey was completely refurbished in 2007- 2009 to house the new UK Supreme Court. Conservationists were worried that this Grade II building, built in 1906 for the Middlesex County Council, would suffer from its renovation. However, most of the original features have remained intact, including this relief of 'the Nine Day Queen' Lady Jane Grey accepting her crown. West side of Parliament Square,SW1
