This table may be regarded as forming a standard. Modi-fications of construction to suit the taste and class of practice ofthe surgeon are simple questions of mechanical art. The portable apparatuses designed to be placed on the ordi-nary deal table to permit of Trendelenburg posture, lithotomyposition, etc., are also much in vogue.
