The view of the Small Isles (Rum, Eigg and Muck) from below Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. There are two sea kayakers visible in the foreground.
The Isle of Skye is just visible in the distant background. Ardnamurchan Point is commonly described as the most westerly point of the British mainland although Corrachadh Mòr, a kilometre to the south, is a few metres further west. The 36 metre granite lighthouse tower soars 55 metres above the rocks.
