He then entered the BellevueHospital Medical College of YewYork City, graduating two yearslater. This college conferred upon himthe degree of Doctor of Medicine. For the next 18 months Dr. Dud-ley served as interne in the CharityHospital and in the Yew York Ma-ternity Hospital of Yew York completed his term of service inthe fall of 1893, and came to , where he decided to locate,in March, 1894. Until recently Dr. Dudley has de-voted his entire time to his largegeneral practice. Yow, however, hehas specialized in gynecology and isgivinsf most of his attention to that. Dr7 Dudley is at present (1900)instructor in obstetrics in the Beau-mont Hospital Medical College ofSt. Louis and a member of the staffof the Missouri Baptist MEDICINE AND SURGERY. 241 The doctor is also a member oftrie St. Louis Obstetrical and Gyne-cological Society and of the Medical Society, of which hehas twice been elected recording sec-retary, and is now serving in thatcapacity. In addition to these numerousduties, Dr. Dudley edits the St,Louis Courier of Medicine, wherehis thorough knowledge of medicineand his literary ability have wonfor him an honored place among themedical writers of the present gen-eration.
