Devine, Mckeage, and Russell, of the Colebrook Culinary Arts Team, took first place in the category of “Best Prepared” for the regional challenge. Teams from Kennett, Pittsburg, and Colebrook High Schools competed in the regional culinary challenge by preparing meals from various ingredients and materials in the MRE. In addition, students submitted videos, graphic designs and ran marketing campaigns throughout the competition. Colebrook’s team will progress to compete against the winners from other regions in January 2023 at the culminating event. The annual culinary competition, cosponsored by the New Hampshire Army National Guard and the New Hampshire Department of Education, challenges students to work together while providing real life experience.
