Southern California's place in aerial investigation—To the long list of record-making weather data might be added the results of the 1913 investigation of the upper air carried on in southern California (See Fig. G) in which the writer, then in charge of the Los Angeles office of the United States Weather Bureau, was associated. The records then made have not been equalled anywhere in the world 70.
