And we again say that it is THE BEST YELLOW FLESHED MELON IN THE WORLD. While this may seem to be a broad assertion, a trial will convince you of the truth of the statement. The "MARY" is a strong, healthy and thrifty grower. Its large crop of melons begin to ripen very early. It not only produces a large number of melons, but the melons are of large size, most of them measur- ing 12 to 18 inches in length, and 6 to 8 inches in diameter, tapering toward either end. The flesh is a rich salmon color, exceedingly sweet, melt- ing and luscious.
