From June 18 to July 6 Mrbummer and his company trained on the beach owing to the overcrowdedcondition of the training quarters at the Fort. _ About September 10, 1918, the entire company was admitted into thetraining school, and on November 22, 1918, Mr. Summer was commissionedfirst lieutenant.
