Mesopotamian art. Neo-Babylonian. The Throne Room of Nebuchadnezzar II. Reconstructed facade. Dated in 580 Its 56 meters facade was decorated with colored glazed bricks as shows the composition, including stylized palms. The frieze of lions was presumably arranged symmetrically so that the animals faced toward the central main entrance to the trone-room. Pergamon Museum. Berlin. Germany.
