A CH-47 Chinook crewmember from the New York Army National Guard’s Company B, 3rd Battalion, 126th Aviation assists with the offload of rescue personnel and vehicles October 13 near Alligator Point, a barrier island off Apalachicola Bay, Florida following the impact of Hurricane Michael. The New York Army National Guard crews deployed 11 personnel and two aircraft to support the Florida Guard’s 1st Battalion, 111th Aviation Task Force. Crews flew for three days, transporting 32, 240 pounds of cargo before returning to their flight facility in Rochester, October 17.
