Circa 1970, A Tradair Vickers Viking plane disembarking its passengers at a British airport - Founded 1946 - Scheduled services began 1947 as East Anglian Flying Services following the move to Rochford, Southend. Tradair formed in 1957 and operated from Southend. Became a wholly owned subsidiary of Channel Airways on 31st December 1962 - Last flight 29th February 1972 followed by entering into receivership after running into financial difficulties
