(7) xi. p. 337 (1903). $ . Black; irons and patches on patagia and pectus white ; abdomen dorsally tinged with green and with white basal patch, the ventral surface with white segmental lines. Fore wing with elon- gate hyaline patch below the cell and base of vein 2, a small wedge- shaped spot in cell and larger spot above vein 6 and a rounded spot above and below vein 4-. Hind wing with hyaline patch below the cell and between veins 2 and 5. Hah. Singapore {Ridley), 1 $ type. Exp. 30 millim. Genus PSEUD0CERYX. Type. Pseudoceryx, Roths. Nov. Zool. xvii. p. 440 (1910) '. dohertyi. Proboscis fully developed ; palpi porrect, short; antennas of male somewhat laminate and almost simple ; tibia? with the spurs minute ; abdomen smoothly scaled. Fore whig with the termen excised from vein 5 to tornus, the inner margin fringed with hair and lobed at middle ; vein 3 from close to angle of cell; 4, 5 stalked; 6 from well below upper angle; 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 stalked. Hind wing small; veins 3 and 5 from angle of cell; 4 and 6 absent; 7 strongly downcurved towards apex; the inner margin with a fold containing a fringe of scales below. In key differs from Trichseta in the fore whig having vein 6 from well below angle of cell and the termen excised from vein 5 to tornus. #6S a. Pseudoceryx dohertyi. erlyi, Roths. Nov.
