The increasing quantities of bulb stock now being received are causing a general easing off in prices. Owing to the unusually large number of funerals, business keeps steadily up, so that every- thing in the way of cut flowers is cleaned up daily. Daffodils came into the market last week in a golden flood, but the quantities have been such that there has not been a golden stream re- turning to the coffers of the growers. The wholesale price of daffodils dropped nearly seventy-five per cent. Various Notes. Joseph Appleton has given up business for himself and is now associated with his brother, Eugene Appleton.
