Following the ceremony, every Soldier from 1-36 Infantry Battalion lined up to give their personal well-wishes to Lt. Col. Matthew Caprari after his relinquishment of command. The Ready First Brigade held a Change of Command ceremony on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the 2nd Infantry Division (ROK-US Combined Division) Headquarters on Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea. This marked the transition of command of the 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division from Lt. Col. Matthew Caprari to Lt. Col. Geoffrey Lynch.
