Enterprising Transport using the little used railway system, Quezon, Philippines.

In some parts of the Philippines the rarely used national railway system is used to transport goods and people locally using home-made vehicles which run on the railway tracks. In many rural areas, as well as in the Philippine's capital, unofficial use is made of the railway system for local transport. Passengers choose this unofficial transport service because it's quicker and cheaper than other options. For the homeless community that runs the illegal service, it puts food on the table. It is dangerous and illegal but provides a small income for the 'trolley pushers' and a convenient way to travel short distances away from the poor road infrastructure and traffic congestion.
