Tlie facades are of gray granite for two stories andterra cotta and terra cotta jiressed brick for the stories cornice is also of terra cotta. The metal frame is of steel,the walls being sclf-sujiporting. The fire-proof floors are of hollow tile, tlie arch blocks beingend construction, 10 in depth, with skewbacks of side construc-tion. The shells and webs are % and V^ ™ thickness respec-tively.
