C., Deputy GrandMaster, who stated that he had been requested by the MostWorshipful the Grand Master to preside for him on thepresent occasion, for the purpose of consecrating the NewMasonic Hall to be occupied by the Ottawa Brethren. After the usual Consecration and Dedicatory Ceremonieshad been most creditably conducted by the acting GrandMaster, he delivered an appropriate and instructive address tothe large assembly of brethren present. In addition to the ceremonies of Consecration and Dedica-tion reported herewith, a large number of brethren assembledin the afternoon of the same day and went out to BeechwoodCemetery where the beautiful monument on the MasonicBurial Plot was unveiled and an excellent address was givento the brtthren and the public present by R. W. Bro. the evening of the same day an At Home was held inthe Masonic Hall, attended by fully a thousand friends of thebrethren. The days proceedings wound up with a banquetin honor of Grand Lodge.
