She was devoted to herhome and children, and no effort was spared to givethem a good education. They all graduated at the Lex-ington High School with an honorable record. Herhusband, a man of genial disposition, was in sympathywith her, and they always had a hearty welcome for thefriends who enjoyed the pleasure of a visit at their was a capable farmer, and with his brother cultivatedthe estate left them by their father. Here, upon theReed homestead, Mr. and Mrs. Reed spent their earlymarried life, but in later years a new house was erected.
