Clackmannan Tower is a five-storey tower house, situated at the summit of King's Seat Hill in Clackmannan, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. It was built in the 14th century by King David II of Scotland and sold to his cousin Robert Bruce in 1359. The oldest portion is a typical XIV century tower or Laird's House, with a small chamber called a cap-house rising above the parapet
