The contents were 94 Old-time Schools and School-books a minor doctrinal catechism, a minor historicalcatechism, — which however only covered Biblehistory, — and The Westminster Assembly s ShorterCatechism with explanatory notes and Scriptureproofs and a few hymns. Like all books of its kindit did not fail to set forth the terrors of hell withdefiniteness and detail, and the closing paragraphsof the doctrinal catechism were these : — What will be your condition in hell ? I shall be dread-fully torment
